EASY Pumpkin Cinnamon Cheesecake Bread

Hey all!  I am back and have a new blog! Be sure to read the ABOUT section to see what this blog is all about (well that was redundant...)  I will touch on that in another post, which should've been my first post, but I just had to go ahead and share a new recipe with you!  This is scrumdiddlyumptious, to borrow from Willy Wonka, and ever-so easy.  I mean, honestly, if I can bake it anyone can.  It's my own recipe, originated in my head whilst traipsing through the aisles of Ye Olde Walmarte (I added the "e" for the old English feel...did ye feel it?)  It's called pumpkin cheesecake cinnamon bread, or pumpkin cinnamon cheesecake bread, or cinnamon cheesecake pumpkin bread....the name is too long for such an easy recipe, if you ask me. I don't know who came up with it.  *sheepish grin*  Anyway, where was I?  Oh yes, the recipe.

Pumpkin Cinnamon Cheesecake Bread (or whatever you want to call it!)

Like my fancy bread pan?

Pumpkin Bread:
1 box of spice cake mix
1 can of Libby's pumpkin puree
1/2 cup of water
Hershey's Cinnamon Chips

Cheesecake Filling:
1 8oz. tub of Great Value Brown Sugar & Cinnamon cream cheese
1 egg
2 tbl white sugar
2 tbl all-purpose flour

Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
2. Combine cake mix, pumpkin, and water and mix thoroughly. Pour 1/4 of batter into two greased loaf pans, so that you are left with half of the batter in the bowl.
3. Mix cream cheese, egg, sugar, and flour in a separate bowl.  Spoon half of the mixture over one of the pumpkin batters and smooth, then do to the other pan.
4. Divide the remaining pumpkin batter into the two loaf pans. Then top generously with the cinnamon chips.
5. Bake at 350 for 1hr and 15min.  I know it will be hard to wait but do try!
NOTE: You may have to cook it less or longer depending on your oven so be sure to check it after an hour.  You want to be able to stick a toothpick in it and have it come out clean.  Be sure to check all the way to the bottom.  If it starts turning too brown on top and not cooking on the bottom, cover with some foil for the remaining time.

Your house will smell like fall and your belly husband will thank you!

Check out that swirling action in the middle!
How's that for June?  Crap, I forgot to wear my pearls while making this... do baggy sweatpants from college with bleach stains count?
